Pricing & plans

• Is Tempo really free right now?

  Yes. We're in beta — every feature is free while we finish polishing Pro. You'll get plenty of notice before anything changes, and your data is yours regardless.

• What happens when Pro launches?

  Your current workspace keeps working. We'll announce pricing well ahead of the switch, and everyone on the beta gets a grandfathered discount.

  The Free tier will remain genuinely useful — not a trial clock in disguise.

• Do you offer a discount for makers or students?

  Free is already free. When Pro launches we'll keep a generous free tier — and we're happy to help makers and students directly. Email us and mention what you're working on.

• Can I cancel or downgrade anytime?

  Always. Downgrade from Pro and you keep read-access to your history; cancel entirely and you still have 30 days to export.

Your data

• What happens to my data if I stop using Tempo?

  You can export everything to CSV at any time. If you delete your account we remove your projects, tasks and entries within 30 days.

• Where is my data stored?

  On encrypted infrastructure in the EU, with daily backups. We don't sell your data, and we don't train models on it.

• Can I import from Toggl, Harvest or a spreadsheet?

  CSV import is on the roadmap for Pro. In the meantime, send us your export and we'll help you migrate by hand — no extra charge.

Sharing with clients

• Can clients see my share link without logging in?

  Yes. Public dashboards are read-only and require no account — just a link. You can revoke the token any time.

• Do I control what clients see?

  Yes. Each share link is scoped to a project or a date range, and you choose whether entries, notes, or totals are visible.

• What's included in the read-only view?

  A clean breakdown of hours by task with optional notes — no pricing, no Kanban clutter, no login prompt. Exactly what a client wants to glance at.
